Biographical Sketch
Tiffany Wilmot LEED AP
Wilmot, Inc.
Tiffany Wilmot is a pioneer in the green building and waste prevention industry. Throughout her career, she has maintained the belief that the route to environmentally responsible building practices is fundamentally tied to green business decisions that fortify productivity and amplify profitability.
Since 1994, she has served as president of Wilmot, Inc., a sustainability and green-building consulting firm providing clients with innovative, high performance approaches to improve health, protect the environment, save money, and encourage community. Under her leadership, the company (www.wilmotinc.com) has managed a wide variety of large-scale public- and private-sector projects for clients such as Vice President Al Gore, the US Army, Saturn Corporation, the Coors Company, and Mitsubishi. Wilmot, Inc. also led the Tennessee Titans coliseum construction and demolition project, the largest C&D project in US history.
Ms. Wilmot is one of six national experts selected to serve on a Resource Group for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development study entitled “Feasibility Study of Deconstruction as an Economic Development Strategy.” She is a LEED Accredited Professional and a licensed building contractor. She holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a BA from Duke University.
